Everyone’s too busy pretending they know all about feminism, being outraged at Romney, to realize that they buy in to modern female stereotypes every day from the media and our culture. Go ahead and vote, ignorant, duckfaced, bikini-pics-on-Facebook females (read: Feminists.. on Twitter and Tumblr) of America. That category is broader than you think.
Raise your hand if you’re a “feminist” but you obsess over how your butt looks in those pants (It’s possible to genuinely do both, but I don’t personally know anyone who does.)
Maybe our perception of media, culture, and womanhood is really the issue here.
I think Mitt has more pressing issues on his mind. Like international relations and stuff.
